1. Can you share a moment in your career here that you’re particularly proud of and why?

Without a doubt, one of the moments in my career that I hold dear is when I was promoted to the Risk Department. This milestone marked not only a significant advancement in my professional journey but also a validation of my skills, dedication, and potential within the company. Moreover, transitioning to the Risk Department presented me with new challenges and opportunities for growth.

2. What motivates you to excel in your role every day?

Overall, the combination of contributing to organizational success, solving complex problems, making a positive impact on people’s lives, and fostering personal and professional growth collectively motivate me to excel every day.

3. How do you set and achieve your personal and professional goals?

Setting priorities and identifying your goals is crucial. To achieve them, you must have a well-organized strategy and maintain your motivation and commitment. 

4. Can you describe a challenge you’ve faced at work and how you overcame it?

As a Risk Manager, my biggest challenge was instilling a culture of accurate risk assessment and reporting among colleagues. I addressed this by holding targeted meetings with Desk Managers and emphasizing the value of thorough risk analysis and precise reporting guidelines. We successfully increased the team’s attention to proper risk assessment procedures and increased the effectiveness of risk management as a whole by providing constant instruction and assistance.

5. In what ways do you think your motivation impacts your team and the wider company culture?

My motivation stimulates teamwork, excellence, learning, and innovation, which not only affects my team’s performance and mood but also contributes to the development of the company’s overall culture. I contribute to a positive and dynamic work environment where everyone has the chance to grow and succeed by living up to these qualities.

6. How do you stay driven and maintain high levels of motivation, especially during tough times?

I maintain my motivation and drive during difficult times by keeping my eyes on my goals, breaking things down into small steps, and celebrating my small victories. In addition, I make self-care a priority, seek help from coworkers, and have a positive mindset by viewing failures as chances for improvement.

7. Can you share a piece of advice for others looking to find motivation and success in their careers?

 Of course! I would advise anyone looking for inspiration and job success to match their interests with their work, make specific goals, and have a growth mentality. Always look for ways to learn and grow, perceive obstacles as chances to improve, and maintain your composure in the face of failure. Always remember to applaud your progress, build a network of support, and give self-care first priority.

8. How do you balance your ambitious goals with your personal life and self-care?

Setting boundaries and prioritizing tasks are essential to balancing demanding work goals with private goals and self-care. I make time for my personal interests as well as my career endeavors, making sure I have a good work-life balance. Maintaining motivation and general well-being requires realistic expectations, task delegation when needed, and self-care practices like exercise, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones.

9. What role has mentorship played in your career development, and how do you mentor others?

My job progress has greatly benefited from mentoring, especially from the advice of my project manager Nikola, managers Una, Tom, and Amos, as well as my previous Desk Manager Irena. Their knowledge, guidance, and support have allowed me to overcome obstacles, make significant goals, and develop important abilities. By mentoring people, giving advice, sharing experiences, and offering support to help them realize their professional goals, I try to pay it forward in return. They have my sincere gratitude!

10. Looking ahead, what are some goals you’re aiming for in the next year, and how do you plan to achieve them?

My main goal is to use my talents and experience to effectively contribute to the company’s development during the following year. To do this, I want to strongly look for new and creative chances, work well with my colleagues, and ask for feedback all the time so that I can keep getting better at what I do. Furthermore, I want to go after professional development chances to further my education and experience so that I may contribute even more to the growth and success of the company.
